ad for Lux beauty bar.
Everyone from Leela Chitnis (the first Indian actress to endorse the soap)
to Kareena Kapoor who is the latest face of the brand, almost all big names
in Bollywood have endorsed the brand.
By that reckoning, Priyanka Chopra sure is here to stay now.
After Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka has been chosen as the new Lux lady.
Whopping figure
Though the matter is being kept under wraps and the cosmetic company is
planning a lavish launch, the buzz is Chopra has apparently been paid a
staggering amount of money to endorse the beauty soap.
Says a source, “ There are plans of a series of ads on television and in
print for Priyanka, which would be shot by the top-of-the-line names in the
business.
The last campaigns with Kareena Kapoor and Shah Rukh Khan are going to be
the reference points for Priyanka’s ads.”
Without commenting on her new Lux campaign, Priyanka says she’s very careful
about her endorsements. “For me it doesn’t matter whether it’s a film or an
ad, both have to be steps forward in my career.”
